Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (248) 855-3555. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Hands down one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I've been to New York City and tried pizza all over, and Tomato Apizza beats many of the places I ate there. The crust is incredibly thin and crispy with that perfect smoky, charred flavor that only a proper coal-fired oven can create. Unlike a lot of pizza places, they don't overload it with cheese and make it soggy. It's the perfect amount. The sauce is tangy, balanced, and tastes like it's made from fresh tomatoes. The service was quick, the dine-in experience was great, and I loved the interior and overall atmosphere. Coal-fired pizza is getting harder and harder to find these days, which makes this place even more special. I was visiting from Atlanta and ended up coming here three times during the same trip. That's how good it was. Honestly, after trying Tomato Apizza, I don't know how anyone in the area chooses another pizza place. Yes, it's a little pricey at around $26 for a pizza, but after that first bite it felt completely worth it. Back home in Georgia, the only place that even comes close for me is Big Pie In The Sky, and even then Tomato Apizza beats the majority of pizza spots I've tried. It's truly a hidden gem in

I love their pizza! Thin, fire cooked pizza π I just wish they would offer more types of drinks other than fountain, and fix up their salad bar. The toppings are always mixed

Stopped here and tried a large half pepperoni half cheese. The pizza was excellent and tasted great. This is a neopolitan thin crust type pizza. It was cooked in a brick oven. I definitely want to come back and try the red pie which is red sauce and pecorino Romano. Try it out if you like New York or New Haven type pizza its really good.

Tomatoes APizza is my FAVORITE Pizza place. I live in Florida and we have so many pizza options, however whenever Iβm in Detroit visiting my friends I HAVE to come here for at least one lunch. The pizza is fantastic (fresh and a very wide variety), the staff are all incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is very chill. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I was invited here with a few friends to try the lunch buffet. They charge $13.99 for salad, pizza, and a drink. The pizza is a New Haven thin crust with a really flavorful sauce. They offer a variety of pizzas to try that keep coming out from 11am to 2pm. You can ask for a certain topping if you donβt see one you like and theyβll make it! The salad bar area is kept fresh and clean. They had many topping options to put over romaine lettuce. Everything is washed and cut just before serving. You can see it and taste it. Iβve been back a couple times since then and enjoyed it each visit. Itβs one of the best pizzas Iβve had and pairs nicely with the salad bar. Itβs definitely worth trying for the great price, service, and food.
